SLAVE

At work today they decided to inform me that I will now be working 9-6. And that extra hour isn't overtime either, apparently it's just MY SCHEDULE and therefore they do not have to pay me overtime. According to Bossy, QA employees are SUPPOSED to work 40 hours a week, and that's why it's not overtime... except that I've been doing overtime which was paid, and so has Roman, and we both have regular 35 hours schedules.
I didn't really feel like I had a choice but to accept, but in retrospect I wish I had held out for more money or something. I don't even know anymore. But if you know the boss in question, then I'm sure you understand - he just sort of springs things on you and then usually brings someone to back him up so you feel kind of cornered.
All of this, of course, is the result of Erin refusing flat-out to do any more overtime, despite the fact JP wants to get a second job because they don't have enough money (and they moved into a cheaper apartment). (Although some of you will be happy to hear that FRANCINE ended up doing overtime today lolz. She was still there when Scott, Roman and I all left at 6.)
In more positive news, I'm apparently semi-permanently being moved to the photocopy side because Scott has vacation next week (random), and someone has to finish at 6. So basically I have this week to learn everything else about photocopy that I didn't already know (and that MP forgot that she had taught me, because she is retarded). No more floors for me... hopefully. At this job you never know though.
